Spring is in the air and a new season of rebirth is upon us.
At this time of renewal, we invite the Greater Cincinnati
Pagan Community to our Beltaine Cincinnati Pagan Pride Day
celebration.
Come join us for a day of workshops, merchants, ritual,
children's activities, a health/nature walk and fellowship.
All are welcome to attend and enjoy.
This is a family-friendly event.

In keeping with our new tradition last year, our 2008 May Queen
will crown the 2009 May Queen who will then crown her
2009 Greenman. The 2009 May Queen will keep her crown.

*Vendors:*
There is still plenty of room for vendors at our Beltaine
Cincinnati Pagan Pride on Saturday, May 2nd, Sycamore Park,
Batavia.
Vending is the same price of $25 for a 10x10 space, plus a
product donation with a retail value of at least $10 for the
fundraising auction.

Information-Only Booths:
Information only booths are FREE.
If you are giving out information ONLY about your organization,
events, etc, your booth is FREE
You will receive a 10x10 booth. If you need additional room for your
booth, you will need to pay for the extra space. You may also donate
an item for the fundraiser auction but it is not required.

*Workshops:*
1) *"Herbal Beginnings"* by Laura Moonwoman
- cooking with herbs
- growing and harvesting tips
- using herbs for healing
All will be covered in this workshop
Laura Moonwoman is a certified herbalist that has Native American
heritage on one side of the family and Italian on the other. A Strega
(Italian healing witch) by tradition she blends her Creek, Cherokee
and northern Italian to come up with her own special spirituality.
She owns Moonwoman Herbal and you can check her out on Facebook!
2) *"Reconnecting with the Earth: A Path Finding Workshop"*
by Blaze Lee Dragon
What you will learn:
Reconnecting with the earth will show you, how you can become
one with the earth again. To many people think of themselves as
separate from the earth as if it’s an entity all on it’s own… In fact
the earth is, but we are part of this entity. Blaze will give techniques
for grounding and centering as well as hearing and learning from
nature. Blaze will be discussing concepts and theories to help you
reconnect with our home the earth.
Blaze Lee Dragon first discovered that he had empathic and healing
abilities around 1992. Since that time he has become fascinated with
the world around him and his place in it. He has studied Druidry,
Taoism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Shinto, Wicca, Jedi, and Shamanism
among other paths. Blaze has blended what he has learned from his
studies, into his own eclectic path, leaning heavily on the teachings of
Taoism and Druidry. Amidst a rich magickal accumulation, including
work with ethric touch, quantum vibrational healing, reiki, theta healing,
psychic healing, psychic skills, Qi-gong, chakra balancing, tarot reading,
rune reading and casting, animal oracle reading, meridian work, witchcraft,
energy work, spellcraft, the sight, and psychic reading as well as various
other forms of magick. He found the pull to be a teacher, guide and healer.
He currently offers guidance for a group he runs in Hamilton called Terra
Per’aa. Blaze is ordained and licensed to perform handfastings in Ohio,
and offers such services as path finding, healing, guidance, readings,
household cleansings, handfastings, graveside rites, and martial arts
instruction. Blaze can be found in various places on the web including

*Children's Activities:*
We will have craft activities for the children, the same as last year.

*Health/Nature Walk:*
Orion Skypanther of Mystic Ash will take you on a nature walk to
help you become more aware of your surroundings. Develop you
powers of observations. What do you see when you look at the tree?
Are there animal tracks by the water? What kind of animal do you
think it is?
Join Orion as he points out the wonders of nature.

*Drum Circle:*
We will end the day with an open drum circle.
Drumming is welcome and encouraged ALL DAY!!
Except during Ritual and the Drumming Workshop.

The winner gets half of the money collected.
